THE FINAL WALK OF THE YEAR

The final walk, a walk to round up the year, a walk of final reflection, a walk to a new life, a walk to a NEW YEAR. A walk to end the unhappy things happened in 2005. That is the most important, to forgot any unhappy things and start life refresh.

Today, I took a long, relaxing stroll down Bishan Park. I ask myself questions after questions, some I even can't remembered now. But the most vivid question of all is did I hurt anyone this year, did I heart this person deep? Fortunately, the answer is no.

Past achievements is my another question. What have I achieved this year? Starting from my academic, this year has been rather a up and down for my academic performance. Now is to await for my O'levels to overall sum up my academic achievements.

Next is my relationships with my friends. Through this holidays, I have certainly know alot of my friends better. I have rather break out from my small mini group of friends and have expand it to a larger circle. This friends are basically, Joseph, Jack, Han Siong, Jeffrey and Anne.

It is really a pity to see most of my friends heading to a very different life from me. Well, this is life, you cannot be with your friends forever. Just have to learn to adapt to it and make new and better friends. I certainly hope that I can convince some of my friends to enter JC, but it is really all up to them. Let's just hope that something really strikes them and they want to enter JC.

Then, come another group of friends who will be leaving me, meaning migrating to other countries for further education. Let's just hope once again, they bring back sweet memories of GYSS and never forget us, 4e1 and of course me.

To sum up, this has been a very emotional year for me. See ya people!

From 31st December onwards, if you have not get your card extended, your card will no longer be valid in Singapore. This only applies to those who took GCE O'level exams.

HAHA! I am not going to tell you how to extend your ez-link card. Figure out yourself!

The Unknown X'mas Gathering(Pt 2)
We were exhausted and again we took a rest at Cheers. We bought some instant noodles and sat down at a table not faraway from Cheers. Eating happily, I was unwrapping Emile's gift, which is a cute little big purple pen which reminds me of Mace Windu's lightsabre.

Chatting away happily, then came another spooky event. Our table was quite near the roadside, very quietly we actually heard someone playing some very old classic music. Intially we thought we were hallicualting due to the hunger. However, it was NOT. The music became clearer and clearer. We stopped eating. The music gets closer and closer. We can't help trying to know where the music is coming from. WE NEVER DO. The music just played mysteriously from nowhere. And once again, out of desperation, we gobbled down our food and head down to our next destination without looking back...

So we thought it was the end of the spooky stuff, we head down to several LAN gaming shops hoping to calm our nerves from all those experiences. NOW, at this point do you know why this group is so energetic, whereas almost the others are almost dying? We went to at least 5 LAN shops but it was such a concidence, under the new law, all LAN SHOPS MUST BE CLOSED BY 3 AM. Therefore, we had no choice but to continue travelling.

We were near Orchard now, cautious of all those spooky stuff. Jack, being our team leader tried to cheer us up by telling us a little bit of his love life. So, I posted Jack a question, were he ever tempted(you know what I mean). The answer I expected was probably too naive. You know what I mean? Amidst of the cheerful talk, spooky stuff hit us again...

It took us quite a while to realise it as we were all too busy asking Jack questions. Actually, we were walking at least 5 streets without stopping, every single time we reached a traffic junction, the greenman always appear. And the pattern is that Jack has to be in front of us in order for the greenman to appear consectively. How do I know that? Because after the fifth traffic light, I switch position with Jack, meaning I was in front of them, and the traffic light DIDN'T TURN GREENMAN. Once Jack comes in front of us again, the greenman miracle appear again. SPOOKY OR WHAT?!!!

This is when out of fear, I want to know whether we are still in Earth, I sms Joseph this message " I luv u hahahahahahahaahahahaahahahahahahahaahahahhahaahha" Luckily he didn't reply, if he did I would have fainted. Phew, we continued our journey, with quite a number of calls from Han Siong. Jack called Chia Yu to lead Han Siong's group to safety, hoping that they don't encounter any spooky things.

In the end, we reached Orchard Cinelesiure and sat down waiting for Han Siong. Jack was furious, scolding them. It was pretty funny, when Han Siong and the rest finally arrived, they were all half-dead except for a few. We bought tickets to a movie and watched. STUPID MOVIE, WASTED MY $9.50 FOR NOTHING!

The journey came to an end for us, hope you enjoyed it. This is all real.

The Unknown X'mas Gathering
HaHa! This is the unknown story in the x'mas gathering. The unseen footage, for those who sat at the staircase doing nothing.
While most of my classmates sat at the staircase at marina bay, a small yet adventurous group set off to seek fun and excitement, breaking free from the negative influence of the idle group.
The members of the group: Me, Jack, Emile, Zhong Ming and Jun Yuan.
We set off towards our first destination, Dhoby Gaut. Jack, our team leader led us to the uforgettable adventure. You want to know what really happened, read on...

We set off, we walk and walk. Fatigue takes a toll on us and no surprise, spooky things happen to us. We travelled through to a very strange place completely deserted. There was no lights, no sound, we actually can hear our own breathing. It was dead silence. The first spooky thing happen to us, we are actually walking in circles, we met the same dead-end at least twice, this actually spooks us. More bizarre was that we went to a road that was no cars and no traffic lights. We try to calm ourselves down and luckily we managed to get out of that place.
We were near SMU where the next spooky thing happens.
We were walking, as I said there was no people. BUT SUDDENLY, out of nowhere we actually, I specify WE actually heard Anne's voice nearby. We were so terrified, she can't be nearby, we were so far ahead of her. Out of fear, I shouted Anne's name. The moment I shouted, the voice disappear. We want to re-confirm whether that was really Anne, just at the very moment, Han Siong called us. And he told us everyone was still at the staircase. We sense something wasn't quite right and the voice seems to be coming nearer and nearer...
We RAN AND RAN until we finally reached someplace where there is life.
We arrive at our first destination, Dhoby Gaut. We were all exhausted so we went inside of Plaza Singapura but it was locked. We went to find a place to sit down after all the running. The next spooky thing happen. After the small break we had, we decided to head down to Somerset, we passed one shopping mall, a very strange looking one, even Jack can't recognise it. The others didn't notice except me. So, this is what happen. Through the glass wall, I saw a security guard, I went into the shopping mall, the security guard really slowly lifted up his hand asked me to leave. And I did, BUT the moment I turned my head away, there was a shocking chill went down my spine. It was really cold. I turned my head back again, the security guard was gone. I asked Jack and the rest to leave and I sense something wasn't really right. I didn't tell them the experience so as not to spoil the mood.

We continued our journey, we were really exhausted...to be continued.
X'mas Gathering
Went to my class x'mas gathering, which is definetly the last gathering of the year for me. A new year is starting and new goals and ambitions will once again be filling my mind. Actually throughout the gathering, 50% of the time I was reflecting the 2 years spent together with my friends. Many of us are going our own separate ways, where some of us are even migrating to other places to seek other education. It's a pity that our fate ends here, and I wish them all the best. I just wish that I will not make the same mistakes I once made with my primary schoolmates, alienated them and lose most of the contacts with them.

The X'mas Gift
For the 25% of the time during the x'mas gathering, I was actually thinking of how to present the x'mas gift to my friend. Of course, the friend is a girl. Don't you think it is a waste buying a gift for person of the same sex? I don't think it serves any purpose unless of course that person means alot to you, but otherwise, if it is just a normal friend, it is pointless giving a present to the same sex. As I said, I spend alot of time thinking of how to present the gift, I myself don't know why I took such a long time. Maybe because this is my first time giving a gift to a person and furthermore a girl. Talking about the girl, if she is reading this, it has been a really wonderful 2 years being classmates with you and I hope we still stay in contact, I don't want to lose this precious friendship.

Aftermath of X'mas Gift
Finally, after much thinking, I managed to give her the gift! Yes, my main objective was completed. The ironic thing was that it was way pass x'mas day. I didn't know that I took at least half a day to present the gift to her. She seems surprised that the gift was meant for her, but the main thing is that she is happy. That's good enough, isn't it? That feeling was actually quite great, I didn't know that seeing people have that happy look on that face makes one feel so great, feel so powerful.

PROVISIONAL ADMISSION EXCERISE
Alright, today is the results for the admission of the junior college for the first 3 mths. THE RESULTS ARE OUT, and if you are still unaware of it, go and check it out now. I have been posted to Serangoon Junior College, which is my 2nd choice, which is still not so bad. Now, I just have to wait for my actual O'level results to be out to determine the destined JC. Though it is just only an average Junior College, looking on the bright side, I have at least 9 of my classmates accompanying me to my next phase of my life. It is not so bad after all...

A CRAZY TRIP
Went to Queenstown today, particulary with no motive of going there. Just going there with my few good pals to have a chat and catch up with some gossips. I don't really expect anything unusual to happen and really nothing unusual happens. Maybe, this is why this trip is crazy. My friends went all the way to Queenstown, in hoping to search for a really cheap shoes but it turn out to be a fraud. Everything there was so expensive, it is over their budget. And we ate Macdonald over there which is pretty disappointing as I can eat Macdonald anywhere. I cannot blame them, I was too hungry to think of any options. So, we indulge ourselves with a McSpicy meal and quickly blasts off to shop and we really want to get out of that shopping centre.

A CRAZY TRIP(2)
We call one of our friend to assist us in our direction to Plaza Singapura and he never fails to do that. We reached that safe and sound without a single loss of hair. Registering my sim card was the first task to be accomplished and we did. Since it was early, we went to have shopping at a nearby shopping centre. The shopping centre rocks, with the cooling air-conditioner, beautiful music flowing to our ears, the whole feeling really get me into the mood of shopping. This is what I called a shopping centre. Basically, we spend 3 hours there and we got the things that we desired and went home. And this is where I am now keeping you updates of the recent events happening.

RUMOURS
Rumours spread faster than anything in this world, I bet everyone of you reading this blog agree with me. I always wonder why human beings are always so interested in rumours, even myself. Could it be that we are too bored with ourselves so we start some rumours on someone to spice up our life? Could it be that because we are imaginative that we create something that don't exist in reality? Could it because rumours are always meant to be rumours?

TRAINING TIP(1)
How to get your lazy self out from your chair and get some excerising? Well, the first thing I believe is having a good night sleep. Well, you could say that I am not sleeping early tonight, because I couldn't get to sleep, I need to reflect on something everyday. Having a good night sleep helps regenerate your body, and not only that, you won't wake up so late the next day. Waking up in the afternoon really destroy the your mood to excerise. Imagine waking up, instead of seeing the gentle warmness of the sunshine from the sun, you are greeted with the sorching hot sun. Of course, most of us won't feel like going out to have a excerise. You will need alot of discipline to do excerise in that hot sun. So, the first tip is wake up early, so seeing the morning sunshine gets you into the mood of excersing. Well, this works for me.

CONQUERING THE LOSS
I am going back to my usual style of writing since I get more traffic by writing this way. It has been a dreadful past few days. I had just lost something very important. Something so important that it caused me to feel depressed and low the past few days. Well, the something I lost is my mp3 player, an ipod shuffler, with a really cool red skin just pasted on it not long ago. I don't really know how I lost it but it seems to me that the shuffler must have slipped from my pocket while on the train. No choice, I had to live without my mp3 player. Life still has to go on. My life will not be dampened just by the loss of my mp3 player. I still have a wonderful holiday ahead of me and I am going to enjoy it to the fullest. YES, I have finally conquered the loss of my mp3 player...
SUCCESS TO ME!!

INTERNET MARKETING
Internet is now a really colossal market, millions of people are logging into the internet to surf the net. Almost everytime we want to look for information, first thing that come into our mind is internet. Internet gives us the fastest and first hand information about everything in the world, especially world news. That's why I have been tapping into the knowledge of doing bussiness in the internet. An example is the google adsense I signed up, it helps me earn money by using the pay-per-click method, meaning every click on the ad on my blog, I can earn money. For more information, you can click the ad above.
Also, I have been reading up on some internet marketing stuff, mostly I can't apply now since I need some capital, also I haven't decided on what bussiness to do. However, it is always good to have a headstart of everyone as I believe that through internet marketing, I can earn money$ real fast.

FITNESS
My physical fitness has definetly improved tremenedously. I have been jogging for the past 4 weeks now. Body-building has also been rather successful, doing chin-ups, dumbells and push-ups. I am pretty confident that I can get at least a silver for my fitness test next year, just wait for my good news. You want to know my secret into not procastinating when training your fitness, just visit my blog regularly.

As usual, back from a morning jog. Sitting down here typing my blog, it seems that my everyday life has become a vicious routine. Doing almost the same thing everyday, but I really enjoy it. Comparing to studying for my O'levels, I am now more carefree and enjoy more freedom. So, you can say it is a blessing in diguise.

I am now in the midst of reading finish my Donald Trump book. Currently in Chapter 8, titled "Pulling Back From The Brink" where he faced his darkest ages in his life. He had been just declared "bankrupt" and now it is the part where he really unleash his full potential to pull himself back to become once again the billionaire.

How can anyone in debt of about 3 billion dollars pull himself back? One must really have the immense determination and intelligence to overcome this seemingly impossible task. And Donal Trump is one of them. Donald Trump is truly a talented businessman. Many things can be learned from him, especially his spirit of never say die.

So, interested in knowing more about him? You can check this book by clicking here.

Back from jogging, with the rain splashing against my face, it is truly a enjoyable jog. Didn't really perspire alot since it was a cooling rainy morning. I am only the few who woke up so early to have a jog, the park seems deserted with lamp lights flickering, feeling that somebody is watching me from the nearby bushes. Scary, isn't it?

Reflection time again. Recently, as I have written in my previous blog account, I just read the book HOW TO WIN FRIENDS AND INFULENCE PEOPLE by DALE CARNEGIE.
Thus it is time to put the things I learned from the book into good use.

After much thought, I didn't really applied alot, I am easily becoming too excited and brag some nonsenscial stuff from my mouth. Fortunately I didn't say too much of it. Well, there is always another chance for me to apply all the techqiues.

Now, back to business. Holidays are already here. There is 2 options for me, first is to find a job and earn some income and second spend my time reading some books to enrich my knowledge.
However, since I have only 1 month and nobody wants to hire me, I have no other choice but to spend my time reading.

This year, I read very few books mainly because of my O'levels. The first book I read is
DISNEY WAR
by JAMES B. STEWARD. It is recommended reading. This book talks about the internal war that is going on in Disney and some of the disputes Michael Eisner have with his colleagues. It is really a nice book to read and I seriously recommend anyone around or above my age.

The second book I read is a self-help book. The bestseller book HOW TO WIN FRIENDS AND INFULENCE PEOPLE by DALE CARNEGIE. This book basically teaches you how to build friendship fast and how to deal difficult people. It is also a higly recommended reading if you want to be successful.

The next book I am currently reading is the life story of Donald Trump, a higly successful billonaire. The book is called Donald Trump master apprentice written by GWENDA BLAIR. This book very detaily tells you the story of Donald Trump, his trumpids and falls. This is too a must read book.

I am planning to read at least 2 books this holiday. At the same time, I am too also planning to read TIMES magazine which is helpful to my general paper next year.

Just came back from an outing with a couple of my friends. I am the organiser, and the main objective was to eliminate boredom. So, I suggest going to national library to have a tour and to look at the intruiging Zheng He expedition. A few don't seem interested until I mentioned going shopping in Bugis Junction.

We met at Bugis control station, Emile and I thought we will be the earliest but amazingly, a few has already reached there before us. Anne brought her cousin with her. An attractive young girl with long hair and a sweet smile. We boys were shy and nobody really have a coversation with her except for anne of course. Maybe she was too attractive, and nobody dared to talk to her.

We marched out towards Bugis MRT station. We met our first obstacle. There are 2 paths. One is to bugis junction and the other is to national library. In order to start the trip with some fun and laughter, I suggest that we go shopping first in Bugis Junction. Since, we can't really talk in library.

Fortuanetly, everything went on as planned. Wait! Do we actually have a plan? We charged towards the shopping mall, exploring every single bit of it and end up empty-handed. How bizzarre.

After 2 hours shopping, we are complaining of aching leg and growling stomachs. No choice left, we head towards the library. The library was huge with 10++++ storeys high. Climbing to the top, I can see China. Just exaggerating. We went to the Zheng He expedition and learned something very interesting facts. One really interesting is the map of Singapore drew by one of the Zheng He's men. The most distinct figure that can really tell that the map is Singapore is once again the Dragon Tooth Gate.

After touring around the expedition, we grew weary and sat down on the cosy sofa and have a chat. As usual, we talk about the juciest gossip in our class. We get too engrossed over it and was told off by the security guard. Not to mention that we spend around 1 hour deciding where to eat.

After much disccusion and dispute on where to eat, we came to a conclusion. That is to our phyiscs teacher cafe to eat. So, we set off our journey to the cafe in which our tour leader led us to the wrong way the 2nd time. We are losing faith in him and my friend, Anne, comes to the resuce and lead us to the right path.

We came to VA VA VOOM cafe, it is a small cafe with lots of helpers. It specality is in serving french and vietnam cusine. It's food is not bad plus we still get a discount and a free drink since we are the co-boss's students. After dinner, we have a small chat with our teacher and currently he is opening his second branch. Quite successful isn't it? Then, I come to notice that Anne's cousin is dread bored, he drew a picture of a girl and below it is a sentence "LEAVE ME ALONE" I am kinda of guilty, playing a bad host.

I got this feeling that this is the first and the last time I am going to see Anne's cousin. Maybe when we get to know her better, then we can communicate with her better. We now know Anne's cousin name and we know that she is more fluent in English. See, we know her better now.

After chatting with our teacher, we went to have a stroll. A simple stroll and we bid farewell to him and on board onto the MRT. We have a little chat, deciding whether to go out again next week. I'm not too sure too. Maybe they should organise now, we should take turns to organise. Isn't that a great idea????

Another post for today. Wow, I realise my mentors, namely my coaches in IAG reflects alot on their everyday life. And it is really alot. I also realise Gary is real good in writing poems. Most of them is too profound for me to understand.

Today, I refreshed my memory on the things I learn from IAG which is the goals setting. I really need to recall all the things, a little bit I have forgotten. If you are interested in knowing more about their success, msg me...

Feeling kind of down. Many things are puzzling me. Not sure what to do. Let time to decide everything?
Just came back from a nice morning jog. Jogging carefreely with no one bothering you. That feeling is always the best. As I jog, I reflect upon the things I do, the things I said. Sad to say, I was pissed off by yesterday's conversation.

Very strange, people just love insulting each other. They came into the conversation room and the the first thing they did was to insult. Don't they have anything better else to say? Still, I think the best conversation are usually with the girls. They tend to respect people more, shown more maturity than the boys. I am not being bias here. It is a fact.

Also, maybe I too said something wrong. This has show me that I have not reached to the stage of respecting others too. There is much to be learn for me too. Once my internet connection is over, I will start to read some books and magazines like TIMES. This will help me in my General Paper next year and hopefully my character building.

When my internet connection comes back again, I will post some very interesting things I learned from the materials I read. This will hopefully help you learn new things. You learn something new everyday.

Alright, I shall end my blog account here with a quote of the day.

YOU DESERVE THE BEST!

WOW!!!! This is my first account after my O'level exams!! I feel GREAT!

    SORRY!
I am terribly sorry for the gruelling wait. You must be gravelling for my accounts. It has been rather busy these few months. EXAMS, EXAMS, EXAMS.... Well, what can I do, this is part of life, isn't it? However, we have the ability to change our life. So, don't feel so lethargic, feel the energy flows through you, making you a whole new person.
    Incoming Exams
The final countdown. 1 month to the actual O'level examinations. Nothing matters now, just have to focus every bit of my energy into preparing for the last and final battle. This is crucial to me, one of my greatest ambition is to break free from the neighbourhood system. If you know what I mean.
    Final Days
The very last days in Guangyang is approaching. It has been a pleasant 4 years in Guangyang. I will definetly miss the school structure, of course, it is still new. Secondly, I believe that Guangyang this name will no longer exist and it will be merging with another school. I really hope they still preserve this name. At least when my kids ask what school I came from, the name still exists.
    Temporary Unavailable
This will be my last account of the month. The very next account will around November 2oth. O'levels are approaching, I won't have time to write my blog. So, be patient, read other people's blog, they are nice too.

    End Of Rest
WOW! End of mock, end of term 3, end of happy-go-lucky days, end of playing, END OF REST!

    Plans for the week
In the following days, I will do my usual routine stuff. I will jog in the morning, start my work after that. I hope that there will be no activities for me for the following days. I must not get distracted from my goal. GOAL: ENTER RJC!!! There will be a slight change in my strategies learing from the experience of my mock. The change will be drastic, just a small slight one. After the holidays, prelims will be just at my doorstep. I need to maintain my health so I will not fall sick. Same to you guys out there struggling with your EXAMS. PLAY TO WIN, NOT PLAY NOT TO LOSE.
    Success of the Week
Well, it has been a very enthralling term 3. As term 3 ends, a better term will start soon. Term 3 has been a very memorable term. A lot of lessons have been learnt. I will take this feedback and improve myself. My prelims are coming but other than exams something very important is also drawing very near. I wonder whether my classmates noticed it. Nope, it is not the O'levels, something more emotional...
    LIFE
Yep, we are moving on to another part of our life. As the year draws closer to the end, I will have to leave my friends. We all going to take a different path, fufilling our destiny. It is going to be very emotional for me as we have spent the last 4 years of our life in each other's company. I will dreadfully miss my secondary school days. So, treasure each and every moment of your secondary school days!!!
    Riddle of the week
The answer to the previous riddle is human being... AHHA ! Left you pondering the answers for weeks right!!

Mock exams are drawing near, tension is high in my class. Everyone is struggling to score their desire results. I think... Well, for me I definetly aim for the highest. As the saying goes, AIM FOR THE SKY, FOR WHICH IF WE FALL, WE STILL LAND ON THE CLOUDS. Doesn't this sentence makes sense? It does for me.

    O'LEVEL CHINESE AFTERMATH
Strangely, it has been several days since the release of the Chinese O'level results. Still the excitement is still tingling around me. I guess I have not felt this excited before. I wish the people who wants to retake their Chinese paper all the best for them as it will be truly a ardous journey for them. Also, I wish to congratulate those who had done well in their exams. As for the rest, you know who I am referring to, do not feel like its the end of the world. Remember these words: THERE IS NO FAILURE IN LIFE, THERE IS ONLY LEARNING EXPERIENCE. Release Of Chinese O'level Results
Well, today has been a exhausting day of me. Basically, it is due to the release of the Chinese O'level results. I thought it was only a rumour just to spice up our lives but it turns out to be truth.
I guess you are wondering how do I fared, right!

Early morning, as I sat down on the floor of the hall, millions of thoughts flashes through my mind. I don't know why for some reason, can't really explain. I guess it is normal. So, as usual, sitting down there letting my thoughts went wild till suddenly, a teacher instructed us to stay back for the briefing of RELEASE OF CHINESE OLEVEL RESULTS.

My heart started pumping heavily, almost lose control of my emotions and go wild and mad. I stayed calm but to only a certain degree. The results will only be revealed at recess time. Till then, I am already going nuts.

Of course, I can't pay attention in class but luckily there is not really any lessons today for me. So that's fine! A few hours to go till the revealation of the results. I can't stand it, I was getting restless I start antagonizing my friends who in turn become so annoyed with me and joined me into annoying other people. Luckily, I did not turn the class into a chaotic state or else I will be punished.

So, enough of those crap. You should be wondering what grades do I get right. Well, I got an distinction which is also an A1. Well, I hope I satisfy your curiousity. Therefore, I shall end my this account here. Till then, AIOUS!

    Sunday, August 07, 2005

Alright, it is 0547 in the evening. Just had a sumptous dinner with my family. While eating, I was pondering what to write for this entry. I reflected some of the juiciest story for the week and some of the very empowering success I made during the past few days.

Firstly, away from the main topic, yesterday was the 60th anniversary for the 1st nuclear weapon used. Yes... It is the anniversary for the dropping of the atomic bomb on Hiroshima. It is amazing how time passes by so fast. Hiroshima has come a long way. Now homed to 3 million people, it is truly astonishing how Hiroshiman managed to get back on its foot and became a propersous city.It is through the sheer determination of the people that really help Hiroshima.

This historial event of the atomic bomb has taught us lessons. We must never resort to weapons of mass destruction as the price is too high.

Now back to our main topic, I am going to tell you about the success as usual. This week has been wonderful for me. I have started revision for my mock exams. Practising exam papers and also praticising my oral. My aim is to get all of them A1s and I am serious. Well, this is one of my success.

The next success took place on Wednesday. We have PE lessons on that day, and I am very glad to tell you guys that I DO NOT NEED TO RETAKE MY 2.4KM RUN1!!!!!1
This is due to my determination to pass this test which has been taking a toll on my confidence.
Furthermore, I had been training pretty hard for this run and I am overjoyed that I pass. Moreover, I passed my 1+++ min. Since I do not need to retake the test, I played a game of basketball with my friends.

In my peak state, I scored 1 3pt, 4pts on normal shooting and 1 pt on layup. Though it is not a serious game where there is no one defending me or blocking me, the feeling is still great. After that I went for a game of tennis. It is really fun playing as I tried to use strokes Maria Sharapova used. It is not easy.

Today, I would also share with you somethings happening in Singapore. Singapore is holding its next presidental poll very soon. Till now, deadline passed, there is four candiates contesting for the presidency. There is no besmirching so do not worry. It is really tantalizing as the presidency poll is drawing near and I wondered who will take the most prestigous post of all.

Other than the presidency poll, Singapore is facing its true summer. Though it is summer the year round, it is one of the hottest month in this year, temperaturing scoring high at 33 degree celsius. Standing under the scorching sun may lead to heatstroke so DRINK LOTS OF WATER!

    AHHHHHH...

O'level is drawing near... Cannot afford to antagonize people or else I will lose the help. LoL! Just kidding. It has been a gruelling year for me but I will not give up on my hopes and ambition
Oh no! I talk too much on this account. Alright that' s all for today. Stay tune for the next story on my success!!!!

Alright, here is another photo taken during Racial Harmony Day. These are the agents in our class hunting for THE ONE. Apparently, they have not found it.

The on the left with on tie around his neck is the coolest of them all. He is a mysterious guy, preferring to remain silent all the time. Apparently, he is the doing OK with his studies.

The one in the middle is one of the fittest guy in our class. Looking serious, actually he is a friendly guy. Not a bad guy but can go haywire if he is hot-tempered. Overall, a very nice guy to be with.

The one to the right. HMMMMMM. Definetly, the wittest of them all. Rumoured to be reading dictornary all the time. No evidence has been shown to us, so it is all up to you. He has a blog too but not sure what his address is. This guy definetly loves english and spites chinese for some reason. Oh yea! He is also rumoured to be Harry Potter of Singapore. Believe it or not.... Can go violence if he is badly provoked but since then he has changed alot, more compassionate towards friends. Overall, a nice guy to mix around with.

Well, today success will be able to know my friends quite well. Not so well, as I don't mix with them around much. But I will do my best to know them better. Photos courtesy of my good friend anne.

LOOK AT THEM! AREN'T THEY GORGEOUS! By the way, photos are courtesy of my good friend Lee Cailin and Anne Wong. Thank very much guys!

    Thursday, July 21, 2005

WOW! What a wonderful day it has been. Thursday, 21st July 2005 will be one of my most memorable event in my LIFE!

Well, on this day, Singapore celebrates its success on being a multnational state by having Racial Harmony Day. My school with no exception also celebrate this day. So, our school decided to have a competition. The competition was to see which class has the highest percentage of pupils wearing traditional costumes.

My class became very determined in winning this competition. Me, being partly influenced by their enthusiasm also started to plan what I want to wear on that day. I was cracking my mind real hard wondering what I want to wear. My friend has suggested to borrow a costume from a teacher. Eventually, I heed his advice and requested my teacher for the costume. Unfortunately, she could not find it. Changing my approach, I decided to borrow from my friend.

Luckily, he is willing to lend me. However, few of my classmates were unable to borrow costumes in time. So, my classmates decided to make them some sarong. From their expressions, I seriously sense they are truly unwilling parties. Eventually, only of them pluck up the courage to wear it.

Well, the success I achieved is I have at least put some effort into this event to make it successful. Though, I would not say I partipated 100% but it is really a different feeling. I MUST keep this effort until I make participating in every event 100% a habit. Well, I shall sign off here. Till next time. By the way I will be uploading some photos about the racial harmony day to let you see what exactly is racial harmony day! Guess Where I will be....

    Sunday, July 10, 2005

Hello! Welcome back to my blog! So, today I am going to tell you about my successes again. July 9th is a Saturday. Normally on saturdays, I will devote my time studying, jogging, surfing the net and watching television. Again, I am thinking of how to make this Saturday different so as to spice up my humble life.

Thinking for hours, still no any bright ideas. Feeling frustrated, I led a miserable Saturday morning. Then, I was thinking again. Why do I want to make myself miserable. Eventually, I change my state and finally started doing my revision for my mock exams. Till then, my Saturday is still the same.

Until an SMS came, "Want to meet at KCPSS Funfair at 3pm", which took a drastic change in this insipid Saturday. Unfortunately, as I was in the midst of my revision, I turned down their offer, but instead I decided to join them for dinner. For your information, the people whom I was about to meet are my ex-classmates during primary school years. Therefore I was even more delighted since I last saw them was 3 years back.

Eventually, I got to meet them. Well, surprisingly not all of their looks has changed. Only a couple of them changed. This dinner indeed is very special to me as I got to know more about their lives. The one thing I was glad about was that they know what they want to do with their lives and they have become mature and know how to think for others. There are still alot of things I have to learn from them.

Thankfully, "none" gone astray, and as I say earlier on, the maturity is there. So what exactly is my success here? The success I achieved today is to meet them, and have maintained this wonderful friendships. I wish them all the best and MAY THE FORCE BE WITH THEM!

Alright, next I am going to talk about my career. In my last account, I mentioned briefly about Maria Sharapova. I read in an article, she can be a negative infulence on young girls. Well, I quite disagreed with that. It all depends on how the individual's point of view. In my opinion, what I admired her is her courage and passion for tennis. I shall not elaborate on that since I did so in my last account.

So ends here my success story for today. See you next time, and I wish you success in life!

    Wednesday, July 06, 2005

WOW! This is my fourth account I have written on my blog. So, it is a Wednesday. As usual, on my bed, I ask myself what can I do to make my day more exciting. After much thinking, I came to an idea.

Today, it will be our first PE lesson. So, I came to a decision I can make a difference during PE lesson. In the past, I don't really enjoy PE very much. It is always the same old routine of jogging round the field and do some excersies. NO! I do not intend to change how PE lessons are run but
I decided to change my mindset.

So, what exactly do I change?

    HAHAHAHA!!

I changed my mindset to having fun during my PE lessons. I tell myself to have as much fun as possible. Eventually, we have a game of floor ball. Futhermore, I also tell myself to contribute to my team as much as possible. In the end, I managed to score 2 pts for my team!

Alright, enough of my success stories. Today I also want to tell you faithful guys reading my blog about someone I admired. She is a tennis player, won the prestigous event "Wimbledon". Yep, she is Maria Sharapova. Why do I admired her?

Well, firstly is her talent in tennis. She plays extremely well and is also a passionate player. She is only 18 this faithful year which is only 2 years older than me. And she is already kinda of successful. Even though she lost to venus in this year's Wimbledon, I hope she will not feel discouraged and treat this defeat as a learning experience. YEP, I hope she reads my blog, LOL.
Wish her all the best in her career!

    Friday, July 01, 2005

Hello again. Thank you for reading my blog once again. Today is a friday, last day of school for the week. Normally, on fridays I will spend my day idling and watching televsion. So in order to this friday a special one, I decided to complete my homework. It is very difficult to resist the tempation the computer has on me.

With great determination and committment towards my goals, I defeated myself and started on my homework. I spend around 2.5 hrs on homework and I managed to complete it and watch my favourite TV programme. The feeling of satisfaction was definetly there and it is really worth rewarding myself.

So, ends my this friday. I hope you people reading my blog will also have this determination!

    Sunday, June 26, 2005

School starts today. The school has shifted back to it's original campus. Therefore, it is relatively new. So, I decided to apply what I have learned during the IAG(I am Gifted) camp. So I was on my bed early in the morning, preparing for school. I was thinking how can I make my day more exciting and less insipid. The first idea that came into my mind was to do some push-ups.

I did 20 push-ups, but still I don't feel any better. So, I apply another strategy to change my state which is visualisation. I visualized myself going to a brand new school with all my pals and "exciting" teachers. At this point of time, my motivation went up relatively high. Still, I am still not satisfied.

I apply another strategy which is to change my physiology. I sit up right and change my body posture. Amazingly, I became more energetic and more refreshed! Well, this is the success of the day that I want to share with you. Cya next time!

    Tuesday, June 21, 2005

WOW! I have created my very own blog! Well, this blog will talk about my little success I accomplished every single day in my life. They can be very small things ranging from eating a apple everyday to reading 5 pages of a storybook.

You can laugh all you like. I don't care. I want to build a high self-esteem for myself. Speaking of myself, let me introduce myself. LoL! I am just a typical boy from Singapore, currently still studying in a secondary school named Guangyang. I am 16 this year and taking O'levels.

Let me tell you MY goals this year. I am aiming to go to RJC, which means I have to achieve a LIR5 of 6 pts. This is not going to be an easy task for me but I will do whatever it takes (ethical), of course, to achieve my goals. So give me your full support by coming to my blog to read on my success route.

If you happend to be addicted to my blog, and you have to read my blog everyday, you have to be patient as I log on to the internet once in a while. So please be considerate, and wait patiently. Thank you very much.

So my very first success of the month is opening this blog. It may seems veri easy but it means alot of hardwork to me. OK! Alright, I shall end here. Rest assured that my other success which I will add in the near future will be more detailed than this. So do not worry. Bye!
