THICK-SKINNED SYNDROME
Let me defined what is "thick-skin", it basically means having high self-esteem and high self-confidence. Most of you may not agreed with me but to me, being thick skin means you really have pride in yourself and really love being yourself.
Some of you may despise people that are thick skin as you think they are arrogrant, over confident and cocky. In actual fact, some of them are. As for me, I admit I am thick skin but not to the extent of being cocky and all sorts.
Those who know me may say that I have the attribute of being thick skin. One famous example is my nick in my class t-shirt. For your info, my nick is "TIAN CAI" which means genius. The reason why I put this nick is not to attract any attention but to actually further boost my self-confidence. It may seems a very easy job wearing a jersey with a nick "TIAN CAI" but trust me, it takes alot of courage to wear that.
For example, today is leisure day. I can wear t-shirt to school. Not having to waste my $18, I decided to wear my class t-shirt. It has been awhile since I last wear this t-shirt. I stepped upon the ground out of my house. With just a single step, I know I am in for alot of attention. Walking towards the lift, my neighbour saw me and already I can see their attention wasn't at me but my class t-shirt. The word "TIAN CAI" WAS AMAZINGLY CONSPICIOUS.
Not only in my neighbourhood, in the public bus too. Into the bus, each time I passed a seat, I can feel that eyes were instantly staring again not at me but my class t-shirt. Thus, I shall say that wearing this t-shirt requires tremendous courage. And this is a warning too, never never never steal my t-shirt. You won't want to wear it unless you are prepared to face the consequences.
Now, enough of me. I would also like to commend on my friends. Judging from the nick of some of my classmates, I think that they have more courage than me. Some of them put the names of the powerpuff girls on that t-shirt. If it is a girl, putiing the name of powerpuff girl, of course it is completely alright. BUT, in this case, they are boys. WOW, I thought I was courageous...
I would really really want to interview them on their feelings when they put on their shirt. Won't it be interesting?
Signing off...
