GCE'OLEVEL RESULTS
The O'level results have just been released yesterday. This year top scorer is Chow Wen Xin, from Cedar Girls' School, with 10 A1s. A heartfelt congratulations to her and I wish her all the best, as she is destined to succeed in life.

As for me, I am in Guangyang Secondary School. Our top scorers are Shaun, Johnathan, Jazreel and Hui En, each with 5 distinctions. If I am not wrong, their L1R5 should be 10pts.

I scored 4As, 3Bs and no Cs. I got an A2 for my CCA and my L1R5 is 12 pts and L1R4 is 9pts. After deduction of my CCA., my L1R5 is 10pts. So, I am hoping that I can get in SAJC or NYJC.

Our school did pretty well this year, better than the DRAGON year batch which are our seniors. I am pretty confident that Guangyang will be value-added meaning the aggregate score for GuangYang will increase.

MY UPS AND DOWNS
Year 2005 has been a rather rocky year for me especially in terms of my academic results. I took my 1st exam, my mid-year examination. I got no As, 5Bs and 2 Cs and a L1R5 of 29pts.
I overcome this hurdle and carry on changing my strategy till my next exam, MOCKERY EXAMS. I sat for that exam and my results slightly improved. Next came my PRELIMS. I got 1A, 5Bs and 1Cs and a L1R5 of 19 pts. Still not satisfied with my results, I continued working hard.

I gotten into SRJC for my 1st intake, definetly not my desired JC. But still I live with it, believing that I can do much better for my O'level examination. I work pretty hard for my O'level, travelling back to school quite a few times to clarify any single doubts.

Then came the release of my O'level results. Finally, I reap what I sow, I got the results as stated above.

I am not writing this to impress anyone but to tell you that DO NOT GIVE UP WHATEVER HAPPENS. FOLLOW YOUR PASSION ALWAYS. DO NOT LET ONE MISTAKE TO HINDER YOUR HIDDEN POTENTIAL, YOUR HIDDEN GIANT. AWAKEN IT INSTEAD AND STRIVE FURTHER!

THANKS VERY MUCH!
I would like to borrow the opportunity to thank the following people in my life. Firstly, I would like to thank my family members especially my brother for the constant encouragement which really help me overcome this hurdle in my life.

Not forgetting the people from AKLTG for empowering me and teaching me one of the most powerful learning methods ever exists.

Lastly, my very good friends from class 4e1 espcially Ren Huan, Zhong Ming, Emile, Jun Yuan and Clive for your unusual sense of motivation you have given me.

Have you recently feel that something is lacking in your life? Do you feel you haven't done something? Do you feel restless because of this? Do you have to urge to read something? And everytime you click on that small little link and you do not like what you are seeing? Something is not updated? You feel frustrated and on the verge of DEPRESSION? If you do, YOU HAVE BEEN ADDICTED TO MY BLOG! I am terrbily sorry for causing you to feel that way. Till now, there is no cure to this addiction, even the tradition "cold turkey" doesn't work.

SUPER BUSY
I am busy, real busy. Homework are piling up, tutorials after tutorials, never ending. Lectures after lectures, never stopping to learn. Day after day, never stop living. Blog after blog, unfortuantely, I have to write lesser each time. My inspiration are dropping fast and quick. I need to recuperate and have to write once a week. Thanks for your co-operation.

Signing off.....
TRUTH & LIES OF PRE-O'LEVEL
The clock is ticking, the time has finally arrived. The final phase of our Secondary School Days are finally coming to an end. Fear and anxiety has starting to take a toll on us. As each day passed, we become more letharglic, more worried, more helpless...
And during this peak period of "Pre-O'level", a bunch of people spinned up some tales about the release of O'level results in order to take advantage of the fear and anxiety in us. Fight them or could you?

The Teaching Myth:
Have you received a letter from MOE, inviting you to join the "Teacher as a Career" seminar? If you do, watch out! Anybody who received this letter either have your L1R5 range from 10 to 15 or 15 to 20. Worse still, the envelope holding this invitation determines your L1R5 range. If you happend to get a brown envelope, your L1R5 falls in the range of 15-20. If you get a white envelope, your L1R5 range is from 10-15.
MY VERDICT: Quite convincing, I was actually fooled by this rumour or is it? I shall give this myth 4 stars out of 5. ****

The No Letter Myth:
H
owever, if you did not receive any sort of letter from MOE regarding the teaching seminar, there is 2 possiblitites. First, you are DOOM! Secondly, your results are better than average and MOE is considering offering you a scholarship. So, don't worry if you did not receive any letter, you know yourself well enough to know which category you fall in. This is what I heard.
MY VERDICT: Absoutley absurd, I don't believe in this myth at all. This is nonsense! I shall give 2 stars out of 5. **
