Just came back from an outing with a couple of my friends. I am the organiser, and the main objective was to eliminate boredom. So, I suggest going to national library to have a tour and to look at the intruiging Zheng He expedition. A few don't seem interested until I mentioned going shopping in Bugis Junction.

We met at Bugis control station, Emile and I thought we will be the earliest but amazingly, a few has already reached there before us. Anne brought her cousin with her. An attractive young girl with long hair and a sweet smile. We boys were shy and nobody really have a coversation with her except for anne of course. Maybe she was too attractive, and nobody dared to talk to her.

We marched out towards Bugis MRT station. We met our first obstacle. There are 2 paths. One is to bugis junction and the other is to national library. In order to start the trip with some fun and laughter, I suggest that we go shopping first in Bugis Junction. Since, we can't really talk in library.

Fortuanetly, everything went on as planned. Wait! Do we actually have a plan? We charged towards the shopping mall, exploring every single bit of it and end up empty-handed. How bizzarre.

After 2 hours shopping, we are complaining of aching leg and growling stomachs. No choice left, we head towards the library. The library was huge with 10++++ storeys high. Climbing to the top, I can see China. Just exaggerating. We went to the Zheng He expedition and learned something very interesting facts. One really interesting is the map of Singapore drew by one of the Zheng He's men. The most distinct figure that can really tell that the map is Singapore is once again the Dragon Tooth Gate.

After touring around the expedition, we grew weary and sat down on the cosy sofa and have a chat. As usual, we talk about the juciest gossip in our class. We get too engrossed over it and was told off by the security guard. Not to mention that we spend around 1 hour deciding where to eat.

After much disccusion and dispute on where to eat, we came to a conclusion. That is to our phyiscs teacher cafe to eat. So, we set off our journey to the cafe in which our tour leader led us to the wrong way the 2nd time. We are losing faith in him and my friend, Anne, comes to the resuce and lead us to the right path.

We came to VA VA VOOM cafe, it is a small cafe with lots of helpers. It specality is in serving french and vietnam cusine. It's food is not bad plus we still get a discount and a free drink since we are the co-boss's students. After dinner, we have a small chat with our teacher and currently he is opening his second branch. Quite successful isn't it? Then, I come to notice that Anne's cousin is dread bored, he drew a picture of a girl and below it is a sentence "LEAVE ME ALONE" I am kinda of guilty, playing a bad host.

I got this feeling that this is the first and the last time I am going to see Anne's cousin. Maybe when we get to know her better, then we can communicate with her better. We now know Anne's cousin name and we know that she is more fluent in English. See, we know her better now.

After chatting with our teacher, we went to have a stroll. A simple stroll and we bid farewell to him and on board onto the MRT. We have a little chat, deciding whether to go out again next week. I'm not too sure too. Maybe they should organise now, we should take turns to organise. Isn't that a great idea????
