TRUTH & LIES OF PRE-O'LEVEL
The clock is ticking, the time has finally arrived. The final phase of our Secondary School Days are finally coming to an end. Fear and anxiety has starting to take a toll on us. As each day passed, we become more letharglic, more worried, more helpless...
And during this peak period of "Pre-O'level", a bunch of people spinned up some tales about the release of O'level results in order to take advantage of the fear and anxiety in us. Fight them or could you?

The Teaching Myth:
Have you received a letter from MOE, inviting you to join the "Teacher as a Career" seminar? If you do, watch out! Anybody who received this letter either have your L1R5 range from 10 to 15 or 15 to 20. Worse still, the envelope holding this invitation determines your L1R5 range. If you happend to get a brown envelope, your L1R5 falls in the range of 15-20. If you get a white envelope, your L1R5 range is from 10-15.
MY VERDICT: Quite convincing, I was actually fooled by this rumour or is it? I shall give this myth 4 stars out of 5. ****

The No Letter Myth:
H
owever, if you did not receive any sort of letter from MOE regarding the teaching seminar, there is 2 possiblitites. First, you are DOOM! Secondly, your results are better than average and MOE is considering offering you a scholarship. So, don't worry if you did not receive any letter, you know yourself well enough to know which category you fall in. This is what I heard.
MY VERDICT: Absoutley absurd, I don't believe in this myth at all. This is nonsense! I shall give 2 stars out of 5. **
