COBWEBS CLEARED: USHERING IN THE NEW YEAR

It's the new year in 1 hour time. I wish everyone of you a HAPPY GLAMOROUS NEW YEAR! Year 2006 has ended. A brand new life awaits me. Long gone are the days of happy-go-lucky. 2007 is the year of intense mental training as well as physcial training. Year 2007 is also another cruical year for me. I am taking the A'levels this year, which really determines my future and my prospect.

Of course it isn't going to be easy if you ask me. NOTHING is easy unless you put in enough effort. The same concept applies to my A'level. Unless I am willing to put in effort, the whole exam won't be an easy task. And I definetly will put in my 101% effort.

YEAR 2006: MY REFLECTIONS

Year 2006 has been a year of joy and sorrow. During the first quarter of the year, I was studying in Serangoon Junior College. It was seriously one hell of a good time. Study little, Play alot. Life was easy going, with hardly any stress at all. The teachers were nice too, giving us as little homework as possible. The orientation was fun too, with never seen before games and funny OGLs.

I made alot of friends too. Both from my orientation group and my CT. They are really kind people, always with a optimistic attitude. Everyone help each other out and always trying means to escape lessons. Though we only spent such a short time with each other, I believe this period of time was really an unforgettable one.

Then I also got back my O'level results which I got 12 points. I was posted to Nanyang Junior College. Life wasn't easy at that time. It was hard to once again adapt to a new environment. I have little friends when I first went. Fortunately, after the orientation, I really get to know a good bunch of people. Life was once back on track again. And tests and exams started streaming in. With an additional H1 subject to handle, I was totally stressed out. But with the help of my family and friends, I managed to pull through my academic results.

Year 2006 is also the year I first got my first silver medal for my physical fitness test. I was the most happy guy at that time. It really took me great pains to get that medal, and I believed I can get gold in the new year.

2006 has also been an exciting one. I joined the coaching course for AKLTG and really learned alot from my seniors. I once again thank them for their kind patience.

Now, currently in NYJC, I think I have also learned alot. During the motivational camp, I learned the importance of teamwork and friendship. I managed to maintained good relationships with my friends and family. I will keep increasing my circle of friends and be friendly and kind to everyone.

I shall elaborate more on my reflections of 2006 on my next account.
Till then, HAPPY NEW YEAR!
